The light was so beautiful this evening, I couldn’t resist returning to Waikiki Beach at Cape Disappointment. There will be a new subject tomorrow. Promise.

Now this one you really need to frame and hang. That light is exquisite! And I think you could single-handedly, with your pictures, get the powers-that-be to rename Cape Disappointment to Cape Hope!
Glad to hear all is well … I’ll send an email soon.
Thank-you, Lowell! You always make my day with your comments!
You’re so right. The low evening sunlight on the bluff makes that spectacular setting even more striking!
Thank-you, Raf! It was a really beautiful evening.
I saw this pic on my phone and loved it. It’s really perfect with the lighting and that popup wave.
Thanks, Sheryl!! I think it’s my favorite of the three because of the light.
Wow. It’s totally different in the morning light. I can’t decide which one I like better!
PS: I had no idea there was a Waikiki beach in your area. I was wondering why you were always talking about Hawaii! :S
🙂 It surprised me to find out there was a Waikiki Beach here. We don’t exactly have a tropical climate. Then I found out that the reason it’s named Waikiki is because a Hawaiian sailor washed up onshore in 1811 after his ship wrecked. So that’s sad.
