But these don’t qualify. Winter waves are enormous, and these are mere splashes. One of my goals is to eventually capture one of winter’s giants on camera.

These are fine images of the start to the many winter storms that will slam into that beach. No doubt you will get your chances to capture some dramatic wave action shots! Fall and winter are my favorite seasons for photographing the peninsula. I’ll probably miss the winter there this year, but will certainly enjoy staying tuned to your beautiful blog, as well as Sheryl’s blog in Astoria.
