I don’t know what this guy had in the back of his truck, but whatever it was, the seagulls wanted it. An entire flock was trailing after him as he drove down the beach.
What a cool shot! Must have had some fish or fish droppings back there. Seagulls do flock to the food. Have you ever had one take something out of your hand? And yes, we are inundated with churches in Ocala! Hundreds upon hundreds. I don’t think it has made any difference in our body politic, however. Well, maybe meaner! 🙂
Within the city limits (which is a relatively small area) the population is only about 50K. But if you include the surrounding area – all of which is considered Ocala – it’s about 250K.
Meaner. That’s funny. And sad.
I’ve never had a seagull eat of my hand before, but I’ve had a hummingbird perch on my finger! That was pretty amazing.
I love the title. When I read it, of course I was hoping to see pictures of twitchy noses and whiskers. That saturated red truck makes a wonderful counterpoint to the floaty light colors and the gulls. Also, it’s a telling shot of our coast. Very nice!
